Description: A large nugget from the Blue June Mine in eastern Nevada, polished to reveal color. The Blue June mine last operated in the 1970s and resides near Austin Nevada. This deposit is no longer active and produced a small amount of turquoise. The turquoise found at Blue June can have black, orange, red or white matrix. This turquoise specimen has a lovely sky blue color with a small amount of orange to red matrix. We polished the stone on its flatter side and touched it up around the edges to reveal it's color. All the turquoise we sell is natural and untreated.
