The beauty of Stone Mountain Turquoise and it's natural pureness, visually ~speaks heavily of the vast geological occurrences that brought it into being.
We first visited the deposit in the mid-1970's and claimed the Stone Mountain Mine in 1982. We began hard rock mining turquoise in the form of veins and nuggets.
We mine taking into consideration the true and natural qualities of the stone that was formed from "water and time" our most precious resources, combined with an exotic array of minerals from more than a few era's of extreme change. To note a significant period, the Great Basin was once an inland sea. The rise and fall of the sea levels between those era's and now have created a mind boggling amount of geological formations with the constants and changes in time, heat and pressure.
We are honored to be able to bring natural turquoise to people so each person can express artistic interpretation in their own way.
